That sounds more like the user-land cups port

Very few people seem use smb printing
so
I guess some distos still have the odd bug.

I'll need to know what distro & .rpm or .deb you have installed
or
you can just .tz me a copy of your nxnode file.

Sounds like the rest of it is working tho :)
