[FreeNX-kNX] xfce4 on NX runs away too . . . Still a bit O.T.for this group . . . .

Rather than change NX I think you need to run a

        pkill -9 xfce4-xfapplet-plugin

at xfce4 exit, whilst it is still owned by your users.

How about in 

        /etc/xdg/xfce4/xinitrc

after it starts up

         xfce4-session

and
before it kills agents etc when the session manager
terminates . . .
