[FreeNX-kNX] FreeNX on OpenSUSE-11.3

I installed FreeNX from the SUSE repository, but I can't manage to get the rdp/vnc part working. I've googled, checked and tested so many things; in my old 11.0 installation FreeNX was a pure delight over years ... 

I did the normal installation .. nxsetup, add a user ...

To debug, I changed the log-level and the option SESSION_LOG_CLEAN. So I found this error (sorry german packages): "rdesktop -- ungültige Option -o". 

This seems to be the same error like Daniel and Kai reported here: http://mail.kde.org/pipermail/freenx-knx/2008-September/007391.html), but in my installation I don't have the option to change to nxdesktop or nxviewer, these are not part of the package. What I found out is, that both "nxdesktop" and "nxviewer" has been (in older packages) symlinks to nxagent, so I created this links, without success.

BTW: When I try to connect with vnc, I get a similar message ... unknown option.

I found out (google) that the permission on the /var/lib/nxserver was not correctly set. Now nx is owner of this directory.

What I did next is, to look into the nxagent source and found a line with the rdesktop command. The line is abbreviated "rdesktop -option xy". Yes, the rdesktop man page shows no parameter -o ... I tried to hack the script and changed it to something like rdesktop myserver. With this one, I got an window, but it stops answering, it gets no respone. Some of the options seem to be really important ;-)

I can't remember all the things that I have done (sure, I have done a complete reinstall), but in the end I can't get it working. 

Currently I work around, with an xterm window to my server. From here I can start the vncviewer. Perhaps an important detail is (sorry, I cannot explain, why this happens), that a direct call to rdesktop, from this xterm breaks the whole connection (Log: "xterm: Fatal IO error 11 (Die Ressource ist zur Zeit nicht verfügbar) or KillClient on X server ":1002.0"; translation: ressource is not available). It has to be reopened. An vncviewer (vnc runs on the same server) works just fine. In the vncviewer, rdesktop can be started without any problems ...

Can someone out there help me? Is there anybody, who got it working under 11.3? Do I have the chance to get other packages (perhaps from Ubuntu), or do I have to build it from the sources? Is there an alternative project, on Berlios, there are no changes since 2008 .. ?
