[FreeNX-kNX] Flickering problem

Hi,

I had to set up a server with FreeNX, for some customers. The system is 
running Redhat 5 with Fluxbox as Window Manager, iDesk for the icons. NX 
is installed from the CentOs Extras:
nx-3.4.0-6.el5.centos.x86_64
freenx-0.7.3-6.el5.centos.x86_64
The system works pretty fine, only one customer has some problem with 
the installation. The icons on the desktop are flickering all the time, 
and this seems to slowdown the connection (possibly band is used where 
it's not necessary?). On slow connections the system is almost unusable 
for him. We tried to run the client from his desktop and laptop, with 
different accounts, and the problem remains; it's not a problem of 
internet connection either, as he works in the same office as me. If I 
remember right he is using Ubuntu, might it be an issue client side? Has 
anyone faced a similar problem?
