I only know a solution on the client side:

* On the Linux system where you run the NX client save your xmodmap into
a file called for example Xmodmap.nx:

xmodmap -pke > Xmodmap.nx

* Transfer Xmodmap.nx to the remote NX server (for example
remote.nx.server):

scp Xmodmap.nx username at remote.nx.server:

* Login with NX client to the server and load the Xmodmap.nx of you
local client:

xmodmap Xmodmap.nx

Now "Alt+Gr" and "arrow up" keys should work again.

BTW. Which FreeNX server rpms do you use on OpenSuse? What is the output of

rpm -q FreeNX
rpm -q --qf "%{distribution}\n" FreeNX

If somebody has a solution or patch for FreeNX server to solve this
problem, I would be also interested!

Cheers,

    Urs
