Hello,
Recently my FreeNX Server running on SLES 10 started giving the following
error for all users trying to login:
NX> 203 NXSSH running with pid: 4812
NX> 285 Enabling check on switch command
NX> 285 Enabling skip of SSH config files
NX> 285 Setting the preferred NX options
NX> 200 Connected to address: x.x.x.x on port: 22
NX> 202 Authenticating user: nx
NX> 208 Using auth method: publickey
WARNING: Your password has expired.
Password change required but no TTY available.
NX> 280 Exiting on signal: 15
It appears that the error is referring to the 'nx' user/guest account. The
usermod command won't unlock a passwordless account (which the nx user is)
- so how do I get around this?
Also - does FreeNX/NXClient offer any sort of password change prompt for
instances where normal user accounts expire due to password change policy?
Thanks for any input.
