Hi!
Now I'm able to share directories and usb-pen - but this work on MsWindows-client only:
I have change in node.conf (FreeNX server openSuse 11.2)
COMMAND_SMBMOUNT=/sbin/smbmount
COMMAND_SMBUMOUNT=/sbin/smbumount
and set
~ chmod +s `which mount.cifs`
~ chmod +s `which umount.cifs`
Then I boot a netbook with Windows7 + nomachine-client, create a directory incl. file on Desktop, set this as shared-directory.
Both, this directory and USB-pens, are working as shares in the nx-session.
So I think there is no problem with the server (?). It is something wrong with my settings of the clients.
But MsWindows is only for testing. I use linux, so after this I tried again with clients booting linux (OpenSuse 11.0, Ubuntu 9.10), create directory, set this as sharing/samba, but it still won't work:
Info: Share:
'//linux-laptop-m300-olaf/testfreigabem300' failed to mount: retrying with upper case share name mount error(6): No such device or address
Refer to the mount.cifs(8) manual page (eg. man mount.cifs)
Anyone have an idea? Which settings may I have to change for get this working with linux-clients?
Bye
Olaf
