[FreeNX-kNX] Building nx 3.4 libs

I'm building the latest nx libs (3.4) from nomachine, following
http://www.nomachine.com/documentation/building-components.php

How do I enable a debug build?  during configure (of nxcomp) I see the
following:

disabling production of debug symbols
...
disabling info output in the log file
disabling valgrind memory checker workarounds

Will these binaries work with freenx?
