Recently somebody mentioned that the packet xorg-x11-fonts-misc needed to be
installed. So I checked all the xorg-x11-fonts packets. It turned out that
xorg-x11-fonts was not installed - only the -core was installed - and after
installation of that packet KDE4 was starting up with startkde instead of
/etc/X11/xdm/Xsession.
