[FreeNX-kNX] freenx fails to launch KDE4 but gnome works OK - mandriva 2010 x86_64

Not exactly unexpected. No other windows opened, even for just a moment ??


In xterm you can try various kde components, kicker klipper kcontrol
ksplash dcopserver and ksmserver etc and see what they throw up.

We need a kde error message !! What was on the xterm afterwards.

I wouldn't bother looking at nx for error messages. 
It fires off startkde and waits for it to finish, either 'cos you end
the session or because something else ends it.


Did you try running startkde twice to see if was the same both times ??

We need a kde error message !!

We need an error message from kde, 
        (or we need it to be a known issue in mandriva)
