[FreeNX-kNX] Start a disconnected NX session on the host

Hello, I've been searching the past couple hours (NoMachines KB, Google
and maillist archives) trying to see if this is possible and haven't
found anything. Hoping someone here can help. I am looking for a way
for a user to manually start an NX desktop session, which they could
later 'resume' from an NX client.

In our current environment we use VNC like this. We each have a simple
cron script that looks to see if the user has a desktop session, if not
kicks off a

# /usr/bin/vncserver :5 -name myserver -geometry 1024x768 -depth 16

this way on server boot (or soon after), a user can have a desktop
session that is started and ready to connect to. Also, I can have some
autostarted GUI programs loaded and ready to go.

I have NX installed and working great on this server and can connect
fine to start a desktop session through the NX client. So all the base
software is in place and functional. But I would like to use the same
'trick' and have the ability to have my local user account on the server
monitor for an nxsession and automatically start one if it doesn't
exist.

Ideally this would be a command that could be run from a script
(executing from cron) with the permissions of the user that the session
would be for. Similar to the VNC example. Any idea's?

Many thanks!
