Dear List!
I started to try compiling nxcl with nxlaunch or qtnx as frontend on a
Mac Powerbook G3 with PPC architecture. The System is Debian stable 4.0
PPC and everything was compiling fine.
nomachine sources are from the current 3.2.0 branche and they compiled
well.
the ssh authorization works fine (both inside the LAN and from outside)
but after negotiation of the parameters nxcl launches nxproxy witch
tries to start nxclient.
as far as I know nxclient is the program wich you get as a precompiled
package from nomachine, but not for PPC-Linux.
for each connection an errorlog is created in the
folder /home/user/.nx/**session-string/error
here is the content of one of those:
NXTransDialog: WARNING! Couldn't start '/usr/NX/bin/nxclient'. Error is
2 'No such file or directory'.
NXTransDialog: WARNING! Trying with path
'/usr/NX/bin:/opt/NX/bin:/usr/local/NX/bin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/bin:/bin:/usr/bin/X11:/usr/games'.
NXTransDialog: WARNING! Couldn't start 'nxclient'. Error is 2 'No such
file or directory'.

'/usr/NX/bin:/opt/NX/bin:/usr/local/NX/bin:/usr/NX/bin:/opt/NX/bin:/usr/local/NX/bin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/bin:/bin:/usr/bin/X11:/usr/games'.
NXTransDialog: WARNING! Couldn't start '/usr/NX/bin/nxclient'. Error is
2 'No such file or directory'.
NXTransDialog: WARNING! Trying with path

NXTransDialog: WARNING! Couldn't start 'nxclient'. Error is 2 'No such
file or directory'.
NXTransDialog: WARNING! Trying with path

Loop: PANIC! Connection with remote host could not be established.
The logs look the same for nxlaunch and qtnx
Do I have to patch the nxproxy sources or some other parts of the
nomachine sources or how is it possible to get the stuff working.
Any help would be appreciated!
Have a nice day,
Georg Sabransky
