[FreeNX-kNX] nxagent failed to start with: NXAGENT: Fatal IO erroron display

Hi All,

I did some more tests and found out that if I run nxagent manually I
have to specify a X-display greater than 1 to make it start successfully
(nxagent -R -display nx/nx,link=modem:8 :2). 

That nxagent can't bind to display :0 is obvious as the local Xserver is
running on that display. But I have no Xserver running on display :1.
When I now try to run 
"nxagent -R -display nx/nx,link=modem:8 :1" it aborts with the following
error:

_XSERVTransSocketUNIXCreateListener: ...SocketCreateListener() failed
_XSERVTransMakeAllCOTSServerListeners: server already running

Fatal server error:
Cannot establish any listening sockets - Make sure an X server isn't
already running

Might it be possible that the error "NXAGENT: Fatal IO error on display"
is somehow related to the described display issues? If yes is there a
way to specify that nxagent will bind to an X-display greater than 1?

I have installed the following RPMs on a RHEL3 machine
nx-1.5.0-12.el3.at, freenx-0.4.4-6.el3.at, nxclient-1.5.0-113 (I know
the freenx and nx versions are older but I couldn't find any newer
packages for RHEL3).

When I start nxclient the authentication completes and the session is
for some time shown as running when issuing the command "nxserver
--list". But after some time the error "Error: nxagent failed to start
with: NXAGENT: Fatal IO error on display" appears in the nxserver.log
file.
