Here is another nice idea, which could be used for one part of FreeNX redesign at least.

XCheetah

- Cheetahs are the fastest land animals on earth
- Cheetah sounds a lot like "cheating" and cheating on X gets the point
of what NX does ;-)
- XCheetah like HYDE also has a nice prefix like: xcclient or hdclient, (where hd is already taken for hd == hard disk.)

What is bad about the name is that it does not prospect like Have Your Desktop Everywhere or Very Long Screen Cable what this technology does.

However it was an idea and I write it to the list of ideas ...
