Yes, or adding a "-fp" to node.conf in the AGENT_EXTRA_OPTIONS_X.

You can also do:

$ ssh -X user at server
$ nxnode --agent :1000

And if that gives the same error (which it should), you can experiment with -fp options more easily.

$ nxnode --agent -fp "/usr/share/fonts/Type1/or/whatever/" :1000
