[FreeNX-kNX] black screen after authentication

Okay, this is good news first :-).

And what happens if you do a:

$ su - user
$ DISPLAY=:1000 xterm

Do you get an error? Is the window still black?

That is okay, FreeNX is started via SSH on demand.
