I want to check if I understand:
I would take these two diffs files, that you have attached, and apply them to my working 0.6.0 NX directory to upgrade it to version 0.7.0 ?
I didn't understand the removing part in "removing one diff" to get to 0.7.1

No, but I can give you (again, it was not created by me) a diff against core
source packages.
It is against FreeNX 0.7.0, but by removing one diff from the patched directory
you should be able to upgrade it easily to 0.7.1.
