First, the correct filename is kprinterrc, not kprintrc.
Second, there is another file, kdeprintrc, in the same subdir.
Both are equally important for kprinter.
Every time kprinter starts up, it reads these files. Everytime you
change one of the settings in these files (some settings are written
back silently), these files change.
Multiple concurrent remote NX sessions by the same user are *not* hand-
led gracefully (and the local session in front of this computer comes
into play there as well). Every kprinter from each session will read
whatever is currently in that file.
The values which are most important are "Host=" and "Port=" (they tell
KDEPrint and kprinter which CUPS server to connect to).
The Host= field may contain a path to a local Unix domain socket file
as is supported by CUPS since 1.2.0 (but it may or may not work for KDE,
depending on your KDE version).
