Thanks a lot...
Only I do not know what I'm doing....
Do you have any pointers to documentation what the DISPLAY string means to nxagent. Maybe I'm to tired, but I found only http://www.nomachine.com/documentation/building-components.php which is not to detailed.
Anyhow, what I found is this:
nxagent -display nx/nx,link=lan:1000 :33 #since client & server are on localhost
starts up, waits for connection
nxproxy -s :1000
starts, waits, terminates. (There are some strange getopt errors; I'm investigating) No output on the nxagent side...
Actually I'm not to sure what should happen: should nxagent start to listen on some port (probably 5000, since that's what nxproxy tries to connect to... It does not.
The NX docs say:
> ./nxagent -display nx/nx,link=modem:1000
In this case the modified Xlib, linked by nxagent, will create a proxy process that will listen for connection from a proxy peer running on the user's client.
so, should I expect nxagent to start an nxproxy, or is this "proxy process" inside nxagent.
