Oh, that might be the catch.

FreeNX depends on xauth and md5sum to successfully setup the auth file. NoMachine nx ships its own nxauth for that purpose.

Perhaps you can try to see if xauth still works the same?

Btw. I am willing to login / ssh into someones machine to make this work, but I won't be able to setup a SuSE 10.3 beta myself.
