[FreeNX-kNX] VNC over NX with FreeNX 0.6

Has anybody managed to run VNC over NX with FreeNX 0.6?

Trying this (on Debaian Etch with the packages from http://kern.nl/freenx/) fails, the log only shows:

(which doesn't tell me anything about what specifically went wrong)
The problem seems to lie solely on the freenx server side.
NX sessions on the same machine work fine. Using other NX servers (on other machines),
exactly the same setup works with a nomachine 1.4 server or via FreeNX 0.5 (OpenSUSE).

Any ideas?
