i have been unable to get 1.5+ backends to compile correctly on freebsd. the 
fact that freenx no longer supports the 1.4 backend is my only issue, though i 
don't necessarily think of this as a freenx problem.

thanks for your continued work; the freebsd community will continue using 0.4.x 
until i find a way to compile the newer backends. it still works well enough for 
myself and my customers. :)
