Yep, I know exactly where to look - the $#@! suse repos have 64 bit
and 32 bit versions of nx, but the code in nx is hopelessly 32 bit
dependent, so the 64 bit version doesn't work at all.

You need to rpm -e all the x86_64 nx rpms and manually download
the 32 bit rpms from the repos and rpm -i them, then all will be
well (at least it was for me).

There is an incredibly old suse bugzilla on this, yet the 64 bit
versions keep getting in the repos somehow.
