Hi,
I am using Nxserver Version 3 ( on linux fedora 5), I have installed as per the doc, having the nxclient and nxnode both as well installed. (NXFREE)
I also have nxclient on windows by which I connect to this nxserver3.
Till 1 week, I was able to connect properly, we were 3 users working on the same with different user names.
But now, suddenly, I am able to connect only upto 2 users , it throws up the following error :
NX> 105 Hello NXCLIENT - Version 2.0.0
NX> 134 Accepted protocol: 2.0.0
NX> 105 Set shell_mode: shell
NX> 105 Set auth_mode: password
NX> 105 Login
NX> 101 User: ashwini
NX> 102 Password: ******
NX> 103 Welcome to: opsdriver2.vxindia.veritas.com user: ashwini
NX> 105 Listsession --user="ashwini" --status="suspended\054running" --geometry="1024x768x32+render" --type="unix-gnome"
NX> 127 Available sessions:

------- ---------------- -------------------------------- -------- ----- -------------- ----------- ------------------------------
NX> 147 Server capacity: reached for user: ashwini
NX> 105 NX> 280 Ignoring EOF on the monitored channel
NX> 280 Ignoring CLOSE on the monitored channel
Start session with: --link="adsl" --backingstore="1" --streaming="1" --nodelay="0" --cache="2M" --images="8M" --shmem="1" --shpix="1" --strict="0" --composite="1" --media="0" --session="opsses" --type="unix-gnome" --geometry="1024x734" --client="winnt" --keyboard="pc102\057en_US" --screeninfo="1024x734x32+render"
NX> 599 Reached the maximum number of concurrent sessions on this server
NX> 500 ERROR: Last operation failed.
Killed by signal 15.
Not understanding why, the machine where the nxserver is installed is also ok with the memory and cpu resources as such ( 4GB and 2 CPU)
I have retried rebooting the machine, also re-installing the nxserver , stopping/starting. Changed the parameters relevant
Set the maximum number of displays reserved for NX sessions.
#
#DisplayLimit = "200"
#
# Set the maximum number of concurrent NX sessions.
#
#SessionLimit = "20"
#
# Set the maximum number of concurrent NX sessions that can be run by
# a single user. By default a user can run as many sessions as they
# are allowed on the server. By setting this value to 1, the system
# administrator can force the user to terminate any suspended session
# before starting a new one.
#
#SessionUserLimit = "20"
To values nearly of 20000, but still no joy.
Please can someone help me in this, and explain what could be the issue.
As far as my knowledge goes, this is a free tool lifelong, is there any restriction otherwise.
Your help is very much appreciated.
Thanks and Regards
Gayatri
