yes. This seems to be the sad truth. But why? According to feature request
#906 support for 1.5.0 clients is in the 0.5.x freenx server branch, but
somehow this 0.5.0 ebuild has problems. I guess nomachine is offering the
latest sources (-> nx server version 1.5.0). Are they already in the svn
repository? Do you need more devs? So what's the problem and how can I
help?

I guess I'll start with checking out the svn repository. :-)
