thank you for your answer.
Upgrading remote (the nxserver) is rather a big problem:

- nomachine doesn't support the linux/sparc platform
- the latest ebuild is already installed (nxserver-freenx-0.5.0.ebuild)

However, the message you quoted is only a warning:

Are you sure that client proxy 1.5.0 can't work with server proxy 1.4.0?
