Nope. See my /etc/pam.d/common-auth:

    auth       sufficient pam_opie.so
    auth       sufficient pam_unix.so nullok_secure
    auth       required   pam_deny.so

Both pam_opie and pam_unix are set to sufficient, and work just fine
(and as expected) on normal SSH connections. Nxclient connections, on
the other hand, are a very different story.
