Does "setxkbmap -model pc105 de" help? Can you check if the keybd channel is 
enabled? Look into ~/.nx/C-<sess_id>/options and perhaps also options file on 
the client side.

I have a strange problem with one of my servers, where xkbcomp gives a warning 
and the nxagent does not load the keymap on resume, _but_ once I start 
setxkbmap it all works ...
