If this doesn't work, I have a copy of 1.5.0-138 that I can send somehow
(not sure if this mailing list will allow attachments).

I can't get the NX clinet for windows to work
correctly with FreeNX server. I read somewhere that
the reason for this is that the NX client on the
nomachine's site is new and incompatible with FreeNX
server (running on Ubuntu). Could somebody please
help me get the older Windows client that would work
with FreeNX server?

Thanks!

I've got the same problem on Debian Etch and created that symlink.
Didn't help. For xterm these problems stopped when I just didn't some of

these "bad colors" anymore, but that's no solution. For "display" from
ImageMagick and some other programs I still get these "color is not
known to server" messages with colors "black", "blue", "cyan", "white"
and so on.

Any ideas what could be wrong?

Volker

You aren't missing anything. Nxdesktop is disabled for PPC, and nxagent
is there. All you should have had to have done is install freenx and nx.
The library preload was taken care of by a stub nxagent that calls the
proper applications. Try removing the packages, remove the /etc/nxserver
directory, remove the nx user and re-yum the packages.

Rick Stout
