Hello David,

I tried to setup a Linux application server with FreeNX with client side
printing for Windows XP workstations, but after fixing several issues with
the FreeNX bash scripts I was stuck with NT_STATUS_DUPLICATE_NAME even in a
network where there should be no duplicated name. So everything seemed to
work except transfering the print data from the appserver to the win
workstation via SMB.

See my post "printing support with a client printer accessible from a Windows
XP box" for details.

Well your setup would be even more complex it seems, as you would have to
route the print data from the Windows appserver to the FreeNX server to the
Windows client. Maybe it makes more sense to let the Windows appserver talk
to the Windows client directly in that case. So you would have to tell the
Windows appserver to which printer it should talk for each session.

Regards,
