[FreeNX-kNX] how freenx stuff works

Hello,

I'am wondering how the whole freenx login process is going but can't
find that info on the freenx site.
Am I right that the initial contact to the freenx server is made as user
"nx" using the key-pair imported in the client?
So the whole auth process is done via ssh?
And that the nx session is unencrypted unless the user who's login in is
also using a key-pair?
