[FreeNX-kNX] SmartCard authentification?

I read in last years's articles, that SmartCard authentification with
FreeNX was on the agenda.  Are there any news?
What would it take to integrate SmartCard authentification in
FreeNX?Does NoMachines' NX Server support SmartCard SmartCard
authentification?

I am impressed by NX and FreeNX.  In a startup project in 2000 we
wanted to develop an optimised VNC protocol, unfortunately the project
was stopped before it ever could fly.
