Use an 1.5 client

You need a version 0.5 of FreeNX to use a 2.1 client, and I there is no
deb for that, so far I know.

Mmm, is there a suspended session? Maybe because it does not work with
2.1. Log in over ssh and kill all processes of that user.

You need SSL "on" in nxclient.
