That's too little to know what's going on... Did you try
authentication by using SSH?

ssh -i path_to_NX_private_key_file nx at your_NX_host

I think the problem could be that you didn't install the NX client
private key on your NX client. FreeNX generates a NX client private
key during install while the commercial NX server software always uses
the same NX client private key.
