Hi list

I'm on SuSE10 and installed the latest NoMachine client version 2.0.0-98
(Linux). This client does not connect to an older 1.4 server. Fair enough.
This is what I get...:

NX> 1000 NXNODE - Version 1.4.0-44 OS (GPL)
NX> 700 Session id: DELL-M90-1000-16D7AA6F6E01E4DB7F4AAAD0A3573881
NX> 705 Session display: 1000
NX> 703 Session type: unix-kde
NX> 701 Proxy cookie: a8ee0e34ca9b722455c49a8b7b9f5a23
NX> 702 Proxy IP: 127.0.0.1
NX> 706 Agent cookie: 71d079a258ad4cdf264bb9f77867c761
NX> 704 Session cache: unix-kde
NX> 707 SSL tunneling: 0
NX> 105 /usr/bin/nxserver: line 880: 13684 Terminated ( sleep
$AGENT_STARTUP_TIMEOUT; exit 1 )
NX> 504 Session startup failed.
NX> 1004 Error: nxagent failed to start with: Unrecognized option: 1
NX> 1001 Bye.
Killed by signal 15.

Now, I actually went to the freenx web (berlioz) and tried to download some
SuSE binary version of the latest GPL'd server version. I was directed to an
empty ftp page, one that said goto:

http://software.opensuse.org/download/NX

I went there and saw what I belived was a SuSE repository, one that could be
inserted (YAST) into the installation sources. I did that.
I swithed off the other sources of installation in YAST (namely my local
copies af the original CDs) and then I searched for "freenx". I got version
0.4.4 listed.

I thought that was the old one? Should I not get a somewhat newer version?

Will someone please bear over with me - and direct me to instructions on howto
install a freenx server on SUSE10 that will connect to the version 2 of the
NX clients?
