I also have VNC problems, with pretty standard TightVNC server, and with a
VNC server that comes with KDE.

I wrote about them on the list several times, no reply though.

Of course I tried playing with different "encodings", but it just make no
difference - either I don't see the VNC desktop at all, or I see it for a
second, and then the connection breaks.

This happens with FreeNX 0.4.4 and GPL NX 1.5.0.
AFAIR, I didn't have this problems with some earlier version of FreeNX and
NX 1.4.0 - with the same VNC servers.
