[FreeNX-kNX] can I redirect vncviewer thru nxserver to vnc?

I'm trying to coonect from home to an office windows 2000 
machine running vnc. I can reach gateway at the office, 
which is ruuning freenx and nxserver.

home--(adsl)---gateway---(lan)---windows

I can use nxclient on home  connect to gateway (nxserver), 
then run nxclient(vncviewer?) on gateway to reach the 
vncserver on windows.

This seems cumbersome. Is there a way to run vncviewer on 
home, and have gateway proxy and compress the connection to 
vncserver? IOW gateway would never start X, but just do its 
nx magic for the adsl link between home and gateway.

I'm thinking of something like ssh forwarding.

This should be a fairly common application. Anybody done it? 
Anbody have any ideas about how to do it?
