The nxclient embeds an X Server.  It is called NXWin.exe.

When the client starts, it spawns NXWin.exe in the background.  You
should check your task manager to see if it is running.  Also, you
should check in your .nx\temp directory for NXWin.log.  It may tell you
if something is going on.  Also post the sshlog and runlog from your
session.

If you are a paying customer of Nomachine, you can also get support from
them.
