[FreeNX-kNX] leaving applications running

Hi,

I have setup a freenx server in order to remote control the sound
application (amarok in this case), running on Kubuntu.

The basic "workflow" I want to follow is
- logging in
- switching some music on
- logging out, suspending the session and leaving it running
- logging back in, resuming the session, doing whatever.

The interesting part is "leaving the music running" while being logged
out, so the client machine can be switched off.
I saw that this worked fine using the knx client. I could logout from
the NX server and the music kept running. However, using NoMachine's
client the music stops right after having logged out and resumes after
resuming the session.

I wonder how I can have that behaviour also for the NoMachine client
since I'd also like to remote control all that stuff from a Windows
machine. (All that might be interesting for other, long-running tasks
aswell, of course.)

Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong, or even better: How to make NX
behave as described above?

Many thanks in advance,

sebas

If you think you have the solution, the question was poorly phrased. -
