You are most probably using the commercial version of the server, for which 
FreeNX can't give you good support....

How did you setup the FreeNX?

Please try the following command manually:

. $(which nxloadconfig) # if you can't find that, 
do . /usr/NX/bin/nxloadconfig; If thats also not there, your setup is "fucked 
up" ;-)

read -s P; echo $P | $PATH_BIN/nxnode-login ssh user 22 $PATH_BIN/nxnode 
- --check ""; unset P

Where user is your user and P is your password, 22 is the ssh port ...
