Yes. That is what the NoMachine NX Client does for you if you
use the appropriate "Configure..." settings. (It will smbmount 
the local share to a remote mountpoint).

You need to use the "Enable SSL encryption for all traffic" 
option to use the nx/ssh tunnel and let the SMB traffic pass
the firewall.
