Well, if you look at the nxclient and nxserver packages, you'll see that nxproxy 
isn't in use any longer, and freenx doesn't need it either if you set 
ENABLE_ROOTLESS_MODE="1" in node.conf (only works propperly with freenx >=0.4.1 
and nxagent >=1.5.0-snapshot2), so it might very well be intentionally.
