Hello all
There are various ways to do it obviously, but I am getting confused as to
where the FreeNX scripts must be.
From nxloadconfig:
NX_DIR=/usr
PATH_BIN=$NX_DIR/bin # if you change that, be sure to also change the public
keys
PATH_LIB=$NX_DIR/lib
ok so we put the binaries in /usr/bin
Also from nxloadconfig:
NOMACHINE_SERVER="/usr/NX/bin/nxserver"
NOMACHINE_NX_HOME_DIR="/usr/NX/home/nx"
Do the files need to be in both?
There is a patch gentoo-nomachine.diff, which I applied according to the
instructions (is it for every distro, or just gentoo?)
Then copied the files to /usr/NX/bin etc
Now when I connect, I see in /var/log/messages:
User nx not allowed because shell /usr/bin/nxserver does not exist
So where do they go?
Thanks,
H
