[FreeNX-kNX] nxdesktop printer redirection matters

Hi:

I've been using freenx basic command and configs as foll:

Thinstation diskless == freenx (Suse 9.3) ==== XP rtemote desktop


Since we are not able to redirect printers within Suse rdesktop 1.3 (default install) 

we did:

nxdesktop -r printer:myprinter 

among usual -f -u '' -p xxxx  -r floppy=/dev/floppy   my.XP.ip.address

we can see generic printer on our printers list, but we are not able to print on the same lan

we did not copy on/from  our share TS floppy.

the error message

lpr error stdin is empty, so no job has been sent...

Questions.....

Do we need CUPS running on Suse ...?

We can print using local Thinstation linux command as 
generic tex printer from command line (it's a parallel
inkjet)



Any suggestion will be appreciated
