Ooops! I am not aware that this did actually happen. What did 
happen was that there were also FreeNX snapshot releases (which
in turn may or may not have supported recent NX Core Lib snapshot 
releases), and what might have happened is that one or the other
Linux distro packager provided RPMs/debs and never updated them
later (happened with SUSE IIRC).
