[FreeNX-kNX] bandwidth usage

I have seen various reports of what the bandwidth utilization for a
single desktop session at modem speed would be.

There are documents on the nomachine site that put the number at 20 kbps
 for a single session.  The recent Linux Journal articles put the number
at 40 kbps.

Does anyone have any data on this?

I have tried to use the session reports from the nomachine server but I
can't figure them out.

Is there an external tool that I could use to monitor the bandwidth of
the sessions?
