This means that nxagent failed to start.
You need to set NX_LOG_CLEAN=0 in node.conf and then look at the server in
your users .nx directory for a {F,T}-C-<id>/session file.
We will need the output of this session file to help you further.
To see if nxagent is operational at all do:
ssh -X user at server
LD_LIBRARY_PATH=<where_nxagent_libs_are>:
$LD_LIBRARY_PATH /where/nxbins/are/nxagent :1000
To make things easier you can also use the newest version of nxnode from SVN:
freenx-server/branches/FreeNX-0.4, where I just commited an easy way to test
nxagent without needing to know where it is located and which libraries it
needs:
You must replace nxnode (make a backup first) and do:
/where/nxnode/is/nxnode --agent :1000
To make it even easier as mostly nxserver still is in PATH you can
additionally replace nxserver and just do as user (not as root!):
nxserver --agent :1000
Once incorporated into distributions this should make debugging life for easy
tests much easier.
