You should be still able to see the session in:
nxserver --list
There is a timeout and if that is not reached as you try to login again, the
session is still running and not yet suspended.
One fix will be the support for resume of "Running" sessions, which is in the
FR queue.
For now you can just do from the new session:
nxserver --suspend <username>
And then reconnect to your session.
