Well, this will not be *much* different with NX. Frequently print jobs
do creat *very* large job files, no matter which format you use, and
how much real-world compression you can apply. It all depends on the
original file.
So a 64kbps link will nearly always be too weak to support performant
printing for all cases.
What could however be added is some sort of bandwidth arbitration, so
that the interactive user session gets always enough of the cake to
stay responsive, and give to printing only what is laft.
64kbps will never support fast printing of color pictures from Gimp
to a local 1200 dpi Epson Stylus Color 7-inks Inkjet.
