I have updated the freenx rpm's to version 0.2.6. You can find them at:

http://fedoranews.org/contributors/rick_stout/freenx/

Changes to note in this release:

1. As usual, the rpm will do the required setup. Upgrades will leave
existing keys intact, so you won't have to reconfigure the clients.
However, this version has changed the nx user home directory location,
as well as user type. The nx user is now added as a system account, and
it's home directory is now located at /var/lib/nxserver/nxhome. It is
recommended to exit out of any nx session you may be running before
attempting an upgrade. The RPM will determine the location of nx user's
home directory, then will backup the keys, remove the nx user account,
re-add the nx user as a system account, and replace your keys. Please
let me know if you run into any snags. I've tested it with upgrading,
removing, and clean installs and it looks pretty good to me. Non
standard nx home locations (anything other than /home/.nx or
/var/lib/nxserver/nxhome) should not be affected, but /usr/bin/nxserver
will need to be manually edited to reflect the correct location.

2. The nxsetup script (which shouldn't need to be used) has been updated
to reflect the system account change.

Regards,

Rick Stout
